Full Stack Developer

Our client located in Ajax, Ontario is seeking a Full Stack Developer.

CGD certificate required

This will be a day shift position (100% onsite)

Pay rate will be $50-60/hr. (37 hours per week)

Starting from ASAP (12 months contract)

Hybrid work: It is up to 3 days working from home. But they will require for him/her to be on site every day at the beginning.
Number of interviews: ideally in person, but they are flexible. Probably 2 interviews, one technical with our tech lead, and one with the HM, and higher level the manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing the complete lifecycle of a Web application from conception to sustaining.
• Develop all elements required for the application, from user interface to data management.
• Ensure the developing loop with the customers: work closely with the customers to define their needs, work closely with Architecture Team to design the application architecture, design and build the application, implement it and ensure support and evolutions.
• Create and modify the applications using the frameworks and standards from the company.
• Develop and maintain programs to extract, transform and load all types of data (structured and non structured).
• Peer Review and ensure code quality and respect to the standards.
• Write associated technical documentation.
• Manage the activities following Agile Methodology.

Requirements

• A recognized University degree in IT, IS, Computer Science/ Business, or Mathematics.
• 5 to 7 years as a Full Stack Developer.
• 3 to 5 years of experience with Cloud Technologies.
• Object Oriented language (Java)
• Front End Framework VueJS or similar
• .NET
• SQL and NoSQL Databases
• API/Web services
• Containers (Docker / Kubernetes / Open Shift)
• Cloud Experience (AWS, Azure, GCP,) – A Developer or Solution Architect Certification is an asset
• GIT
• Python
• ETL
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps framework.
