Application Analyst - PeopleSoft

As an Application Analyst, you will assist clients in the effective use of PeopleSoft Enterprise Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) 9.2 (Purchasing, Inventory, Accounts Payable, General ledger, Accounts Receivable, Billing, eBill, Asset Management and Project Costing). You will analyze and resolve client issues while working with the technical team to apply needed application changes. Primary duties include:
- Design, delivery, implementation, configuration, and support of FSCM.
- Maintain, create, or update complex application configuration and other functional design deliverables.
- Collaborate with staff and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to identify, analyze, test, and implement application enhancements.
- Gather and analyze business and system requirements, identify process improvement opportunities, and make recommendations.
- Participate in business process design modeling and re-engineering.
- Develop test cases, test scripts, end user acceptance testing scripts, end user procedures and training content.
- Establish strong working relationships with the Subject Matter Experts.
- Research learn and understand the latest products and features within PeopleSoft.
Qualifications
- A degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Management or a related field and at least 5 years of related experience.
- Proven application analyst experience, particularly gathering and development of process analysis and business requirements, are required.
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft FSCM and various reporting tools such as Data Warehouse (BI) and PeopleSoft Query will be considered an asset.
- Previous experience with related business processes; Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application implementation and support; application systems life cycle awareness; and/or business process analysis will be considered assets.
- Success in this position requires: proven analytic and problem-solving skills; the ability to acquire new skills quickly and independently; a strong customer service orientation, with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills; and the ability to plan and manage tasks for small to medium projects.
