Rogers is seeking a proactive Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) professional who takes initiative in identifying threats, driving intelligence-driven security decisions, and enhancing threat detection capabilities.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide cybersecurity expertise and guidance to business units while distilling complex intelligence into clear, concise, and accurate analysis.
- Analyze raw intelligence to track adversary TTPs and emerging threats.
- Identify cyber threats, trends, and developments in predefined topics.
- Deliver finished intelligence reports with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate across teams to brief on threat activity and track adversaries/campaigns.
- Produce high-quality intelligence reports under tight deadlines while maintaining long-term analysis.
- Communicate effectively through written reports and briefings for technical and leadership audiences.
- Assess security risks in applications, infrastructure, processes, and external suppliers.
- Provide risk-based recommendations to enhance cybersecurity posture.
- Research cybersecurity publications to support strategy and planning.
- Facilitate intelligence sharing with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Apply MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain for threat analysis and response.
- Conduct data analysis, tracking, and reporting for informed decision-making.
- Expected to take on future leadership responsibilities.
What you bring:
- 1-3 years + applied cyber security and technical experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Management, or a cybersecurity-related certification.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
- Knowledge in ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain & Cyber Threat Intelligence Framework is an asset.
- Understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity, ATT&CK, OWASP) and risk management methodologies.
- Participation in threat intelligence, threat hunting, and incident response activities an asset.
- Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Knowledge of Python, JSON and Scripting will be an asset.
- Experience with developing metrics, KRIs and KPIs and generating reports for senior staff.
- Experienced in researching, analyzing multi-source data, and documenting insights for reports, briefings, and trend analysis.
- Monitor for threats, apply critical thinking to develop insights.
- Experience working in a project setting which can include planning, coordination, and status reporting activities.
- Previous experience in the IT industry and broad cyber security is an asset.
- Ability to collaborate with teams and independently to achieve goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
