Senior Systems Analyst

As a Senior System Analyst, you will participate in the evolution of our applications systems along with engaging in the delivery of high-quality software-based network monitoring solutions.
What you will do:
You will play an important role in implementing monitoring solutions projects and support of existing integrations on wireless and wireline technologies in collaboration with various teams across Rogers. You will integrate tools to allow network performance optimization and will deliver optimal service levels of our operations and engineering teams. Tools are integrated with the collaboration of external vendors such as OpenText, Cisco, RCATSOne, Commscope, Netscout, Gigamon, Witbe etc. as well as leveraging internally developed tools
We work in an environment where everything changes rapidly. You will collaborate with external companies, engineering and operation groups, to set up network service monitoring systems as well as optimize fault visualization and identification of incident root cause.
- Participate in the development of a long-term vision and roadmap for product evolution.
- Gather and translate internal client requirements into well-documented solutions that align with strategic goals.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve process efficiency and system performance.
- Integrate and administrate the different monitoring tools and develop software when required.
- Implement methodologies specific to the software development lifecycle to design and deploy monitoring solutions aligned with business needs.
- Explore and apply advanced technologies such as machine learning and AI to enhance network monitoring capabilities.
What you bring:
- Fluent in English and French to communicate with our clientele
- A degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent experience.
- Technological knowledge including databases, SQL, Linux, Windows, Java and Python are an asset.
- Demonstrated skills in simplifying and clearly communicating complex situations.
- A creative, innovative, and automation-driven mindset with a strong desire to succeed.

This is a hybrid work model in our Montreal office located in the heart of downtown Montreal, directly connected to the underground, the metro system, and the suburban trains.
