Sr. MarTech Developer

What you will do:

The Sr. MarTech Developer will join the Personalization & Digital Analytics Platform team that empowers Cineplex with data monetization and personalization capabilities.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of the Adobe platform and capabilities to drive personalization initiatives, specifically focused on Adobe Experience Platform (RTCDP and AJO), Adobe Target, and Adobe Launch. You will work with internal stakeholders and external partners to design, develop, and implement solutions that support the personalization roadmap for Cineplex.

This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office per week). Office location is 1303 Yonge Street, Toronto.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Technical & Business Expertise

  • Hands-on implement and ensure the best-in-class quality of the personalization platform capabilities and integration in Adobe Experience Platform, Target, and Launch
  • Create and maintain updated technical documentation including detailed implementation, capabilities, and platform architecture and processes
  • Prioritize, optimize, and own the personalization platform implementation roadmap

 

Inspiring & Influencing

  • Act as the subject matter expert for the technical implementation of the personalization platform and capabilities
  • Proactively understanding of best practices and upcoming industry and platform capabilities

 

Teamwork & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with a variety of internal teams and external vendors (developers, data engineers, data architects) to define technical requirements and validation on platform implementation, infrastructure, and governance

 

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degrees in computer science, engineering, or similar fields with a quantitative and technical focus

 

Experience

  • 5 years’ experience in hands-on, enterprise-level martech implementations (Adobe Experience Platform is preferred)
  • 3 years’ experience in hands-on SQL, APIs, and real-time integrations
  • Experience with CDP integrations with AdTech and other downstream platforms
  • Experience with A/B testing and web targeting tools (Adobe Target is preferred) and ability to write custom scripts to implement A/B testing and targeting activities
  • Understanding of data layers, web/app SDKs and tag management

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proven ability to implement enterprise-level technology and diagnose issues efficiently
  • Strong passion for personalization, analytics, and a data-driven culture
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to perform effectively in an environment with many competing demands
  • Familiar with agile methodology and practices
